Dr. Bernardo Loose
Bernardo Loose (MD, MPH), is an active physician in the public, private and academic sector; having a private practice in Mazatlán, also works in the Department of Preventive Medicine & Public Health at the local Navy Hospital, as well as being part time university professor, his scientific work has been published in national and international medical journals.
Graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) with a degree in medicine and later obtained a master´s degree in Public Health from the Mexican Army & Air Force University (UDEFA); he has received training in diving medicine by the Argentinian navy (ARA ESSB), as well as in organ procurement by Mexican National University (UNAM).
He is a member of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States-Society of Federal Health Profesionals (USA), as well as the mexican Society of Public Health (SMSP) and its regional chapter the Sinaloa Society of Public Health; has contributed to health related proyects implemented by local non-profit organizations as well as church groups.
